Working as a girls' track coach is not Molly McGrath's idea of a dream job. With football on her mind, she reaches out to other coaches in the area for an opportunity to coach football. One of her colleagues is thrilled to hear about her interest and invites her in. Leaving a high school with ample funding, McGrath finds herself coaching football at one of the most dangerous high schools in the city. Although she is startled at first, her charisma and caring shine through all the hate and bigotry surrounding the kids at Central High School. As she whips the athletes into shape, her old high school employer, Prescott, wants to show her that she made a poor decision. Their football team is looking to beat her kids at any costs. McGrath is up for the challenge.
