Overview
Who says a pregnant woman can’t live in the local Wal-Mart? Follow Novalee as she is left by the father of her child at a Wal-Mart after purchasing shoes. Realizing there is no other place to go, she stays in the bathroom until everyone leaves. During the day she walks to the library where she meets someone who turns out to be a dear friend as well as a woman who welcomes her into her home. Novalee discovers the joy of photography and the emotions of true love.
