Bernard, an ordinary and timid mouse who works for the Rescue Aid Society, is teamed up once again with Bianca, one of the agency's top rescuers. Bianca is warm-hearted and elegant, and Bernard is deeply in love with her. He hopes to propose to her but keeps getting interrupted as they rush off to Australia to rescue a boy who has been kidnapped by a poacher. In Australia, a studly wilderness expert leads them through the Outback. Bernard feels out of place and threatened by this newcomers, while Bianca is charmed. Romance takes a back burner, though, when they come face to face with vicious MacLeach, who has captured many rare animals in the hopes of killing them and selling their remains for a fortune. |
