A Hong Kong police officer, Edddie Yang, is hired by Interpol to assist them in the capture of notorious crime lord A.J. "Snakehead" Saul. Saul is trying to kidnap Jai, a young boy who possess mystical powers and a medallion that grants him immortality and superhuman strength. Yang and Interpol officers infiltrate the temple where Jai is sheltered and prevent the kidnapping but lose Snakehead in the chaos. Later, Snakehead is successful in capturing Jai, setting off a global chase to save the child. Eddie manages to track Snakehead and his gang to Ireland, where he frees Jai but drowns in the attempt. Using his medallion, Jai brings Eddie back to life. With his newfound powers, Eddie continues to track Snakehead before he can gain the same strengths and move beyond the capabilities of human law. |
