Overview
One of the most infamous outlaw gangs of the post-Civil War era, the James-Younger gang terrorizes the American frontier. Led by Jesse James and Cole Younger, these two sets of brothers rob countless trains, banks and stagecoaches throughout the Midwest. Now they have their sights set north, on a bank in Northfield, Minnesota. What they don't realize is that Rixley, a detective from the Pinkerton agency, is hot on their trail. The bank robbery goes awry and the gang scatters following a shootout. The James brothers head back to Missouri, while the Youngers, who were badly wounded during the botched robbery, are captured. Despite Rixley's attempts to persuade them otherwise, the Youngers refuse to turn on the James brothers.
