Overview
Yussel Rabinowitz is a young successful cantor in New York City who dreams of a career in popular music. When he is given a chance to record one of his songs, he goes against his father wishes and travels to Los Angeles. There he meets an agent who thinks he has what it takes to be a star and wants to help. Yassel must choose between the religious life his father wants and his own dreams of music stardom.
