Overview
Toorop is a near-future mercenary who is hired by a Russian mobster to transport a woman known only as Aurora from a Kazakhstan convent to New York City. Aurora is guarded by Sister Rebeka, and the three embark on their 6,000 mile trek across Russia. Soon they are followed by other mercenaries, and Toorop has to use every skill he has to keep the young woman alive and safe. While on their way to New York, Toorop learns that not only does Aurora have special abilities, but she is also pregnant with twins, even though she is a virgin. The convent he removed her from is bombed, and Toorop realizes that he may be the one to save the future of the human species.
