Trailer | Overview Two Chicago musicians, with a streak for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, witness a murder on Valentine’s Day. Jerry and Joe rise to the top of a gangster’s most wanted list, forcing them to flee from town disguised as an all-girl band. Hilarity ensues and tension mounts when the all-male musicians show up dressed in drag as Josephine and Daphne – the replacement bass and saxophone players. While attempting to keep their true identities a secret, a wealthy gentleman strives to woo Daphne (Jerry), while Josephine (Joe) has his heart set on Sugar Kane Kowalczyk – the ukulele player and singer in their new-found band. Following a mafia convention, the gangster, Spats Colombo, arrives in town with his posse in tow, oblivious to the fact that his two witnesses are almost within his grasp. |
