Chris Cole is the lead singer of Blood Pollution, a rock tribute band devoted to covering the songs of heavy metal group Steel Dragon. Meanwhile, Steel Dragon fires their lead singer, Bobby Beers, due to certain lifestyle issues. They hold auditions for a new singer. Chris is having troubles within his own band. Blood Pollution dumps him for another tribute band singer. His fortunes change quickly when he is invited to audition for the Steel Dragon lead. Chris begins living his dream as he is chosen to be the lead singer of his favorite band. Under his new stage name, Izzy, he lives the real rock and roll lifestyle with all of its ups and downs. After a whirlwind tour, his fantasy comes crashing down. |
