Overview
The Double Deuce is a dirty bar that features far too many nightly brawls. Frank Tilghman, the bar's owner, wants this to change. To put an end to it, he brings in a man named Dalton, who has the skills to deflate the intensity of a bar room brawl without getting himself mauled in the process. Dalton starts cleaning up the place and falls in love with the local doctor, Elizabeth Clay, who everyone calls "Doc." This relationship angers Brad Wesley, Doc's former boyfriend and a local crime boss who wants to see the Double Deuce continue as a place of nefarious activity. A showdown between Dalton and Wesley's henchmen looms, as does the future of the bar and the fragile peace of this small Missouri community.
