Overview
Lewis Skolnick and Gilbert Lowell start Adams College as freshman, hopeful of the good times ahead. They soon become the abusive targets of the jocks at Alpha Beta fraternity. Lewis and Gilbert are forced to form their own ragtag fraternity filled with a nerdy collection of students such as Booger and Poindexter. When Lewis develops a crush on Betty Childs, the girlfriend of football star Stan Gable, Lewis and his friends decide to do whatever they can to fight back against the jocks. At the Greek Homecoming Festival, the competition between fraternities, the Lambda group works their intellectual magic to best the jocks, even in somewhat athletic competitions, and wins the whole thing. Their win allows them to control the Greek Council, legitimizes their fledgling fraternity and gets Lewis the girl.
