Overview
Carter Nix, a well known psychologist, is married to Jenny and the two have a daughter. Jenny is concerned about how Carter is obsessed with how Jenny is raised and it is getting worse. Jenny, alienated by Carter, begins an affair with an old boyfriend and loses track of what Carter is doing. When a group of children end up missing through a series of kidnappings, Jenny suspects that Carter is trying to recreate an evil experiment by his father, whose work was discredited.
