Overview
After spending 22 years in a mental institution following nefarious acts against the tenants of a hotel, Norman Bates is released and declared legally sane. However, Lila Loomis, the sister of Marion Crane, a victim of Norman, insists that Norman has not changed and that he is still a vicious killer. She believes that the court is indifferent to the victims, and that by releasing Norman they are enacting a horrible mockery of what justice is meant to be. After Norman Bates returns to the motel and mansion that he owns, and where the previous trouble happened, bad things start to happen once more. People begin to realize that not only does he seem to be continuing his past transgressions, but also that there may be more to the story than originally thought.
