Overview
With the Freelings' home gone and excavations underway, Steven, Diane, Robbie and Carol Anne all move in with Grandma. Feeling the worst is behind them, the Freelings' settle into a normal, daily routine. At the excavation site, however, a hidden cave and burial tomb are found by a spiritual Native American, Taylor. A preacher brought his followers into the cave and forced them to stay as the world supposedly ended around them. Becoming evil in the process of killing all his followers, this preacher wants Carol Anne to himself. Taylor warns the Freelings of the preacher's intentions as they attempt to protect themselves. Poltergeists are difficult entities to avoid, however, and Carol Anne finds herself at the center of a supernatural tug-of-war all over again.
