Overview
Eva Gregory is a 9-year old girl who wants nothing more than a pet of her own. Amy, her mother, doesn't think she has enough responsibility while Eva’s stepfather, Tom has fur allergies. Her father Peter travels too much to keep a pet. Everything changes when Eva one day finds a Capuchin monkey in the park. An escapee from his drunken master, Dodger, the monkey, proves a difficult secret to keep. Dodger is a trained thief and Eva struggles to teach him right and wrong. Meanwhile, Arzo, Dodger’s gypsy master, is searching for his lost monkey. What follows is a heartwarming tale of friendship as Eva fights to keep Dodger.
