Overview
Madea, a sassy black granny oversees a large, unruly clan. Here, she is in the midst of preparing to bring everyone together for a reunion, but she has a number of other problems that are more demanding of her attention. One thing pressing on her mind is the romantic frustration of her nieces, each of whom is immersed in love woes. The engaged Lisa suffers from an abusive relationship, and her mother has ignored her cries for help. Meanwhile, Vanessa is recovering from the trauma of having been raped. While Madea tries to help them deal with that, she also must get used to caring for a young runaway who has landed on her doorstep.
