Overview
Wanting to live the life of cowboys of the Old West, two Texas teens, John Grady Cole and his best friend, Lacey, decide to cross over into Mexico to find work on the large ranches down there. During their journey, they encounter a drifter named Blevins, who has stolen a horse. The two friends find employment on a rich man’s ranch and begin to live their dreams. Yet the friendship is strained as John develops a romantic relationship with the rancher’s daughter. When the law catches up to Blevins, the friends find themselves labeled as accessories to the crime and try to survive in a Mexican prison. John seeks to set the record straight and to return to the woman he loves.
