Overview
Bank Teller Claude Banks just wanted a nice night out with his girl when pickpocket/hustler Ray Gibson crosses his path. Thanks to Ray, Claude is unable to pay for his meal and finds himself about to be murdered by Club Owner Spanky. Ray strikes a deal to repay Spanky. Claude will accompanying Ray to pick up moonshine in Mississippi. It seems an easy deal. Bring the moonshine back to Spanky and all is forgiven. What could possibly go wrong? Claude and Ray find themselves caught up in the 1930's racially biased Mississippi justice system when charged with a murder committed by the amoral sheriff. Will they find a way to escape a lifetime in a Mississippi prison? Will they ever prove their innocence?
