Overview
A much-loved Cocker Spaniel, Lady, has a chance meeting with a mutt called Tramp. Wise in the way of the streets, he tries to lead her astray. He warns her about how a new baby born in the home will change her status as sheltered puppy. When Lady's owners leave on a short trip, they leave her and the baby under the care of Aunt Sarah who much prefers cats to dogs. She punishes Lady for the damage done by her Siamese cats, causing Lady to run away. After a brush with the law, Lady releases her romantic ties to Tramp to honor her responsibility to the baby. However, she and Tramp ultimately work together to save the baby's life, and he joins the family.
