Chuck and Larry are two friends from the same fire company in Brooklyn. After Larry's wife, Paula, passes away, Larry runs into red tape when trying to make his children beneficiaries on his life insurance policy. Larry is afraid that if something were to happen in the line of duty that his children will not be taken care of. Luckily for Larry, Chuck owes him a favor. Reluctantly, Chuck agrees to enter into a domestic partnership with Larry in order. When the pension department questions the legitimacy of their relationship, they hire a lawyer to prove their case. This doesn't go as smooth as they intended. Chuck quickly begins to fall for their lawyer, and they run into problems on the job. |
