Overview
The Black Demon is a 2023 American monster film directed by Eduardo Rodriguez and starring Michael Madsen, Danny Trejo, and Ernie Hudson. The film is based on the Aztec and Maya legends of a giant shark that terrorizes the waters off the coast of Mexico. The film follows a group of friends who go on a fishing trip in Mexico. When their boat is attacked by a giant shark, they must fight for their lives to survive. The shark is a 60-foot-long megalodon, a prehistoric shark that is believed to have gone extinct millions of years ago.
