Overview
In the war-torn country of Afghanistan, a young Afghan interpreter named Ahmed risks his life to save a wounded American sergeant named John Kinley. After carrying Kinley across miles of treacherous terrain, Ahmed is taken back to the United States with Kinley and his unit. However, Ahmed's newfound freedom is short-lived when he is targeted by the Taliban for his cooperation with the Americans. With the help of Kinley and his friends, Ahmed must fight for his life and for the chance to build a new future for himself in America.
