Overview
Teacher Richard Clark leaves the prestigious private school Wellington Academy to teach at Marion Barry High School, an inner-city public school and he has no idea what he has gotten himself into. He must get a group of students with poor home lives and circumstances to care about their grades and to bring their grades up. To make matters even more complicated, he is smitten by a fellow teacher at Marion Barry and tries to get her to date him.
