Overview
Based on the wild experience The Godfather producer had while working on the classic early 1970s mob drama, the film explores the infighting and other challenges faced to get the movie to the big screen. Faced with threats and and unsavory deals from real-life mafioso families, The Godfather is the movie that almost wasn't made. The Offer explores every aspect of the filming, writing, producing, and the characters behind it. Some of the peculiar occurrences were real "life and death" situations.
