Overview
Franklin, a troubled young man who struggles with substance abuse, depression, and emotional turmoil, completes a rehabilitation program after a suicide attempt. In an effort to improve his life, Franklin forges a social media friendship with a woman who invites him to meet in Maine, but the reality of this budding romance is that his own father has assumed the identity of an attractive waitress so that he can reconnect with his alienated son. These events, which are semi-autobiograpical, are presented in a comedic manner, but there is a recurring theme about the importance of supportive relationships and family bonds.
