Overview
Carmen is a young woman with a hauntingly beautiful voice. She is an orphan, and while her life has been hard, she has always dreamed of becoming a singer. One day, when she was singing in the park to make money for food and clothes, she met the love of her life: Don Jose. At first, Jose was delighted to hear Carmen's voice and instantly fell in love with her. He was a soldier in the army but had become disillusioned with life and wanted to escape. He planned to run away, but after he met Carmen, he did not want to leave her. Jose then decided to desert the army and ran away with Carmen.
