Overview
A career criminal escapes from a Michigan prison and assumes a new identity in Canada. He soon falls in love with a woman he can't provide for without resorting to his criminal ways. Using the new identity, the fugitive goes on a robbery spree involving 59 banks and a chain of jewelry stores. In the meantime, the bandit has to remain highly alert and elusive to evade a police taskforce formed to hunt him down. His growing notoriety attracts the attention of a ruthless detective who will leave no stone unturned to bring him to book.
