Overview
While King Arthur fights the Roman Empire in foreign lands far from his kingdom of Camelot, his son out of wedlock, Mordred, schemes to take his thrown and his queen. An older Arthur returns home five years later with no burning desire to continue his reign until he discovers that Camelot has fallen into ruin during his absence. After he learns of Modred's betrayal, Arthur realizes that he has no choice but to retake his crown, queen and kingdom from a usurper. His only hope is to find his loyal Knights of the Round Table and his friend and mentor Merlin.
