Overview
When brother and sister Louise and Michael learn that their father is dying, they return to their family's farm in an isolated rural town to help their mother take care of him, as well as to take over the duties involved with the farm. But it's not long before the siblings begin to notice that, aside from dealing with her sorrow, something is not right with how their mother is acting. As they all continue to grieve for the patriarch of the family as his health slowly but steadily declines, they feel a mysterious darkness come over them, causing them to begin to experience waking nightmares, and to get the feeling that an evil force is haunting the family.
