Overview
A war veteran named Tomaz, haunted by his war experience, isolates himself from the rest of the world. Miriam, a scared young woman, appears, and the veteran takes her in, caring for her. To guard her, he hands her a protective amulet. Following an arson attack in London sometime later, Tomaz meets Sister Claire, a nun who offers him a job: Assist the women around Claire's home so he can live for free. Eventually, odd things start happening around the broken-down house that somehow leads back to Miriam and her amulet.
