Overview
Loan shark Chili Palmer finds himself working for his hated rival Ray Barboni when his employer unexpectedly dies of a heart attack. Palmer is a cinema fan who has always wanted to break into the movie business, and sees an opportunity when he is sent to collect a debt from movie producer Harry Zimm. Palmer agrees to help Zimm pay his debt if Zimm will produce a movie based on Palmer's life. Palmer sets about collecting the money to finance the picture and enlisting the talents of famous actor Martin Weir while fending off Ray Barboni and the drug dealers that Zimm owes money to.
