Overview
Two New York City cops, Nick Conklin and Charlie Vincent, become embroiled in a counterfeit plot and a battle between rival gangs of the Japanese Mafia. Nick and Charlie are ordered to escort Sato, a gang member who has committed murder in the U.S., back to Japan to stand trial. When Sato escapes Nick must deal with a distrusting Japanese police force, a different culture and his own prejudices to track down Sato and restore their own reputation. Nick is also bent on revenge when the mafia kills Charlie. With the help of a Japanese officer, Masahiro Matsumoto, Nick works to recapture Sato and avenge Charlie's death.
