Overview
A fugitive named Cameron who is fleeing the police finds refuge on the set of a movie. Eli Cross, the egocentric director, decides that he will allow Cameron to stay if he agrees to take the place of a stunt man who has just died. Cameron, who thinks he may have inadvertently caused the fatal accident on set, agrees. Cameron doesn’t realize how dangerous some of the stunts will be, or how out of touch with reality Eli Cross can become. The director doesn’t seem to care who gets hurt, including Nina, the actress in the lead role. Cameron falls for Nina and wants to run away with her, but Eli’s control over the set and over Nina makes an escape difficult.
