Silent Movie is a nonverbal comedy with exception of one spoken line. It explores the life of a formerly famous comedic director and his dedicated staff as he returns to Hollywood to stage a comeback. The director decides to bring film back to the silent film era by creating a modern day silent movie. Everyone is on board except Marcel, a mime, who ironically shouts the one verbal line in the entire movie. Meanwhile, a media conglomerate dispatches an attractive woman to meet with the director and derail the entire project.
