Professional bull riding is like no other sport in the world. 8 Seconds takes an inside look into the fascinating world of bull riding through the life of one of its real life champions, Lane Frost. Frost, who meets and marries a young barrel racer while on the circuit, eventually is crowned the 1987 PRCA Bull Riding World Champion for his ability to stay aboard a bucking bull for the required 8 seconds. His last 8 second ride, astride "Takin' Care of Business", however, proves fatal when he is gored by the animal and bleeds to death at the age of 29 before medical help can arrive. |
