The British-Bollywood film that took the world by storm, Slumdog Millionare is a tale of poverty, luck and love throughout all obstacles. A former street orphan who grew up in the slums of Mumbai, Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) has won the chance of a lifetime by snagging a seat on an international version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Despite his good fortunate, however, and with every correct response, the producers grow more and more suspicious of how a "slumdog" has all the answers. Jamal takes them back to his childhood with a riveting story of his brother (Madhur Mittal), his girlfriend (Freida Pinto) and all the people they've ever escaped or outwitted in the slums of one of the busiest cities in the world.
