Overview
The brilliant scientist Captain New Eyes travels back in time to feed his special Brain Grain cereal to a group of dinosaurs. When they eat it, they immediately become super-intelligent, able to speak and uninterested in violence of any kind. He invites the beasts to travel to his time and greet the citizens of New York City, but they get lost along the way, and complications ensue. While they make friends with a young child while they are wandering around in search of the Museum of Natural History, they encounter an evil sorcerer by the name of Professor Screw Eyes. The professor is the captain's brother, and they have vastly different approaches to life in general and to the problem of the dinosaurs in particular.
