Overview
Billy makes his living hustling guys in pick-up basketball games. He and his girlfriend Gloria are on the run from some gangsters due to a gambling debt. Gloria is a trivia hound who dreams of competing on the quiz show “Jeopardy!” Billy hustles a man named Sidney one day on the playground. Impressed, Sidney suggests they team up to hustle together. They win a few games, and then Billy loses big when it turns out that Sidney has double-crossed him by throwing the game. Angry about Billy losing the money, Gloria confronts Sidney and his wife. Sidney’s wife forces him to pay the money back. Billy and Sidney agree to play together for real this time to try to win a big city 2-on-2 basketball tournament with a $5,000 cash prize.
