Overview
Nim Rusoe lives on an idyllic island with her father, a celebrated scientist. The homeschooled Nim is a brilliant girl, and she enjoys many adventures in a land where her imagination has no limits. She is particularly inspired by the exploits of her fictional hero, Alex Rover. When her father goes missing for an alarming stretch of time, Nim seeks help from Alexandra, the author of the Alex Rover books. However, for all the bravado displayed by her character, Alexandra is a timid recluse, and she is not too keen on any sort of dangerous adventures. It turns out that Alexandra and Nim have a lot to learn from each other if they can just get together and battle their demons as a united force.
