Overview
What's Love Got to Do with It? is a 2022 romantic comedy-drama film about a filmmaker who documents her childhood friend's journey into an arranged marriage. The film explores the different ways that people find love, and challenges the traditional Western idea of finding love through dating. The film is set between London and Lahore, and follows the filmmaker as she travels to Pakistan to document her friend's wedding. Along the way, she learns more about Pakistani culture and traditions, and begins to question her own views on love and marriage.
