A trio of would-be friends meet and compare notes after attending a 12-step program for sex addiction. Mike, Phoebe, and Adam are addicts struggling with their promiscuity and desire for all-things sexual. These 3 also befriend a doctor suffering from the same problems that are ruining his medical career. Adam begins a hopeful relationship with Phoebe; however, according to their 12 steps, the blossoming love has to include meaningful, heart-felt sexual contact. Not simply one-night-stands. Unfortunately, these 2 find it difficult to incorporate sex after being told for so long that it’s not okay to sleep around. Through tears and laugh-out-loud moments, these friends build lasting relationships on a mutual dilemma. Fighting to end their addictions and live in normalcy, they face triumphs and heartbreak together, always picking each other back up to start again. |
