Overview
Estranged from his malevolent father, lonely vending machine proprietor Arlis Sweeney lives his life on the road. When he meets the unhappily married Kay Davies at a roadhouse in Texas, he sees a chance for happiness. The quickly bond and Kay goes on the road with Arlis, leaving her abusive husband for good. As Arlis and Kay grow closer, he begins to realize that they have met before and he knows a dark secret about her past that will change their relationship forever.
