School counselor Alice Green always seems carefree and fun. Behind closed doors, Alice is desperately trying to cover up her increasingly excessive drinking. When Alice does drink, she exhibits careless behavior that endangers the lives of her girls Casey and Jess. Her husband Michael often covers for her but is also becoming concerned about her drinking. A serious accident wakes Alice up, and she soon realizes she has sunk to an all new low. Alice knows she needs to go to rehab to heal. During this journey, both her and her husband need to heal past wounds and rediscover who they are as people. |
