After the death of his brother David, Don travels back to his small New England hometown for the funeral services. Don meets up with his father and finds out that he is part of a group of four friends called the "Chowder Society," where they tell ghost stories to each other. When one of the twin sons of a friend in the group dies in a mysterious way, the group begins to see a frightening pattern developing. The members of the group experience nightmares and frightening flashbacks. Don enters into the group and offers up his own ghost story which ends up being about the same cold and mysterious women that another member had a nightmare about. Unusual events occur and the members no longer believe they are coincidences. |
