Overview
Dan Landsman is the head of his high school's reunion committee. Dan is a man who is annoying but doesn't see that in himself. He gives himself nicknames like D Fresh. He has no social life and his wife and son look at him with pity. His high school's 20th reunion isn't getting the feedback that he'd like. Nobody seems to want to attend. When he sees a commercial starring an old classmate, Dan believes that if this man comes, everyone else will too. Dan concocts a plan to visit California and invite Oliver Lawless in person. It turns out that Lawless isn't a success at all. When Dan gets to California, he fawns over Lawless. The man prolongs the encounter because he misses the adulation from high school.
