During the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Palestinian terrorists invade the athlete’s village disguised as athletes. They take several Israeli athletes as hostages. They are attempting to gain the release of Palestinian prisoners held by the Israeli government, but Israel refuses to negotiate with them. Infuriated, the terrorists kill 11 Israeli athletes. In response to the incident, the Israeli government forms a secret team of commandos to assassinate the 11 Palestinians they consider responsible for the killings. The team will have no formal ties to Israel, and they will receive no help if they are caught. They face many challenges as they navigate the road towards revenge, and by the end many of them are questioning if what they are doing is right or serves any purpose. |
