Overview
Philip is a quiet proofreader who keeps to himself in his apartment. A devoted Catholic, he has relied on his faith in God to keep what he believes is the Devil at bay. He has been psychologically tortured for two years by an unknown beast, and it has wreaked havoc on what remains of his family after the death of his wife. Catherine, a new young woman in his life engages him in a whirlwind romance that turns wrong, and she's possessed after she and Phillip have sex. With the help of an elderly priest, Philip is able to overcome the Devil in his life, which is all too real in his mind.
