Overview
Caleb Holt is a firefighter who is married to Catherine. The two of them felt madly in love when they married, but now that enthusiasm has faded. They never seem to spend any time together, and they snipe at one another constantly. Catherine spends too much money shopping for frivolous items, and Caleb has developed an obsession with pornography. Their marriage seems to be in shambles. One day, Catherine makes it clear that she would like to call it quits, but Caleb isn't quite ready to give up. He tries something called The Love Dare, which his newly Christian father has recommended to him. Each day, he does something to rekindle his wife's love, hoping that by the end of the 40 days, they'll reconcile.
