The Soviets have invented an almost invincible aircraft. Dubbed "Firefox," it’s super fast, can’t be seen on radar, and has a thought-controlled weapons system. The British and Americans come up with a plot to steal the plane so the Soviets can’t use it against them. Former Vietnam POW Mitchell Grant, who can speak Russian, is chosen to get into the Soviet Union and steal the plane. He enlists the help of some Jewish dissidents to get to Bilyarsk Airbase, with the KGB close on his tail. He manages to steal the plane but is pursued by a Soviet fighter pilot in another prototype of the Firefox. The two fight in the air, and Grant destroys the other plane and escapes. |
