Overview
In a San Antonio hospital, several doctors who were in the Army and spent time in the thick of things, tending to those wounded in battle, put their expertise to work in a more sedate setting. They settle in to the night shift, which is a bit quieter than the day but still comes with a host of challenges. As they struggle with their adjustment to civilian society and are haunted by the memories of past traumas, they try to bring life and hope to the patients in their care. As they heal them, they will begin to heal themselves.
